About Me

      Hello, my name is Blake Poush and I am a computer science graduate from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. My education has prepared me to take on real-world jobs and projects in computer science.

      I was an intern at Brooks-Jeffery Marketing & Computer Store in Mountain Home, AR from June 2015 to August 2017. Through this internship, I learned many programming techniques, communication skills, and development methods used in a business environment. Some of the useful skills I learned at BJM include: git version control, static web design (HTML & CSS), dynamic web design (PHP, SQL Databases, & CMS), Search Engine Optimization, graphic design, photo and video production, and more. This internship had a huge impact on my career path and expertise in this field

      In addition to my internship, I have worked as a computer science tutor, therefore, I have learned the importance of working with people and explaining technical topics, which I believe is instrumental in a client-centered company. I've also worked on some school projects covering the topics of mobile applications, database systems, and web development.
